We're having a lazy day #today.
The weather here on #Rugen isn't looking great.
It's cool and there are showers about.

I'd like to go to the supermarket and if it clears up then we'll combine that with a walk along the lake front.

There's a bit of clothes washing needed, and books to be read.

I've been thinking about this year's #OffToOstsee trip and #Interrail trips and #holiday journeys we've done in the past.

Lunch!
Kaffee und Kuchen at the Binz Kleinbahnhof.
It's a narrow gauge steam railway and there's a very civilised cafe in the station

We sat on a bench on the promenade almost opposite an Italian restaurant - the waiter came out and offered us each a glass of white wine for free.

We're now about to eat in that restaurant!
It works!
(Whether it's advertising, subtle bribery or what - I don't care!)

The trouble is, is that I rarely drink alcohol, and I can feel this wine - it's got as far as my knees at the moment.

Bags packed.
Tickets sorted.

Ready for the day ahead - off to #Binz on Rugen Island.
The trains are, effectively, hourly so there's no rush.

We both slept really badly last night.
Can't put my finger on why but my guess is that the Schnitzel didn't agree with me somehow.
Mrs Mike's knee and back are painful.
Shame because it's a comfortable bed in a lovely hotel.

Ah well - today's another day and we're #OffToOstsee

I've accidently ordered Rhabarberschorle to drink with my meal.
What a great accident! It's wonderful - why don't we have this at home?

Rhubarb juice & sparkling water, bottled doesn't sound great but it's certainly Lecker!

Welcome to another week.

This week we set off on another #Interrail adventure - we're #OffToOstsee although today I'll be doing the rest of the packing - but Mrs Mike is a last minute sort of girl so will need some chivying along.
I need to organise a Tesco delivery for our return as well.

We leave tomorrow and for a change we're using the Hull - Rotterdam ferry (P&O - hiss!)
