Cool! Before leaving Rügen, my LoRa device discovered an observer on the island and, through the mesh, two international repeaters, one in Sweden and another in Denmark, both more than 180 km away! 📡

Der #ICE von Binz nach Berlin hatte nur 5 Minuten Verspätung. Dafür funktionierten im Tiefbahnhof 2 von 2 Rolltreppen und 3 von 4 Aufzügen nicht. Mit all den Koffern doch eher unpraktisch… immerhin können wir mit unseren #Nightjet Tickets in der #DB Lounge abhängen.

I walked along the beach to test how far my two LoRa devices could communicate directly, with one of them placed on the ground. At one point, I had to raise the Wio above my head for a message to go through.

I had to turn back at 1.1 km, while communication was still working. I still need to test them along a straight, unobstructed route to see how much farther they can reach.
