    #ThursDeath this week was an easy choice, I've been playing a ton of this ridiculous new LP 'Vermian Death', the debut record from worm-rotted Finnish band GRAVE HEX. This is some truly great, dynamic, nasty, churning, grueling, grody OSDM-inspired death metal. Yet again, the Finns don't miss.

    This week's #ThursDeath was a surprise find, Finland's PSEUDOMAIMER. Their new LP, 'Cavernopathic Autoentombment', reeks and churns and grinds away with intense fervor. They call it 'brutal' death metal and while it is brutal, it's not squealy slammy brutal death - this has ODSM vibes all over it. Dig the rattly, crashy galloping drums, great guitars, dynamics. And killer lyrics! Some real treats on this one.
