    #NowPlaying on a Wednesday morning, metal for some reason. But this shit is killer. It's war metal but definitely some Bolt Thrower vibes in there too. Pretty damn solid, great dynamics, guitar stuff, vocals. This is New Jersey's SIEGE COLUMN and their ripping new LP 'Sulphur Omega'.

    #ThursDeath this week is one I've been listening to a lot of, the new LP 'Desire for Murder' by Russia's NECROGENESIS. This one chugs and rips and has a lot of great dynamics, especially for death metal- there's a bit of brutal death on it sometimes, a black metal vocal or two for emphasis here and there, some great guitar and drum work. Give this one a listen-- it's a wild ride.

    This week's #MusicWomenWednesday is a great find thanks to a mention by @fistfulofdave - German artist Anika. Her upcoming album 'Abyss' comes out in April. Annika Henderson has a rad voice. I like the description I saw- it's like Patti Smith meets Throbbing Gristle or something. There's two preview songs up here and a cool video. Psyched to hear the rest.

    Amazing one for #MusicWomenWednesday. Japanese-Canadian singer/songwriter Saya Gray put out her magical debut album 'Saya' last Friday. Folk, alt-pop + rock sensibilities, synthy electronica & heavier guitar sometimes too. Saya's voice and finger picking- wow. 🤯 Unique melodies and sounds. A contender.
