Public service announcement: Ben Lesh, author of RxJS, is now out there insulting handcrafted coders and saying, effectively, that syntax doesn't matter.
Probably would recommend staying clear of that library and finding an alternative solution.

I want to denounce him, ridicule him, but who has the rhetorical powers to execrate this individual more than he has just willingly done to himself?

I was look at Endless Sky's repo. While it's unfortunate it's still on GitHub, I noticed this, which made me happy:
"Removed various missions with LLM generated content, which violated our strict no-AI usage policy."

I think warnings like "AI-generated content may be incorrect" or "AI responses may include mistakes" are fundamentally wrong. It makes the user think that, in general, the output is a truth.
The warning should point to the idea that LLM output **sometimes** may be correct.
It should be something like:"The output is generated by a text generator. Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental. There is no intelligence behind the text."
Also the warning can be closer to something written on cigarette packs:
"A lot of services were harmed to create the service you're currently using. The Earth is irreversibly damaging right now because of your use this service. Periodical use of such generators may lead to a cognitive surrender."

These days it's almost impossible to find real handmade items from actual people on the marketplace websites (Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) without having to wade through gigantic mounds of tacky mass produced items, uncanny AI slop, and disgusting spam. Profiteering corporations have turned what the Internet could be, a global free exchange between humans, into the nightmare material we see today, a twisted amalgamation of fakery.
Crafty.Markets is YOUR classifieds marketplace on the Fediverse for buying and selling handmade crafts and goods. No mass produced things or AI slop is allowed. All items are shareable on the Fedi. We have no business model. I'm simply volunteering my time to serve the art community and try to make this virtual world a slightly better place.
It's *completely empty* now, but if you sign up today you can be one of the first people on the market! All items posted for sale are moderated to ensure integrity. All transactions are conducted directly between buyer and seller, and there are no cuts taken or any charges to post your ad. I will need some volunteer moderators in the future to help out with this community run project.

Today I am compiling a list of anti-AI arguments that I can use in a discussion whenever I need it. 📝
But I am finding some pro-AI arguments from gen-AI fans which seem so bizarre to me. Do AI "art" makers even have two well-functioning eyes? 👁️👁️
It is difficult for me to grasp how some people don't see clearly how tacky, ugly, and low-quality AI-made content is. 💩

It's amazing how #birds can sing in a frequency spectrum "hole" where regular tree leave shimmer is not present. Here you can see wind blowing in forest trees + some road noise (cars), a big empty black band where a robin is boradcasting it's music, and then crickets above it. #Nature is incredible!

Today I made two particle texture atlasses for my new 2D game - sparks and smoke!
Both made using #MaterialMaker (as are so far all textures in this game! - save for text).

Progress on my robo-vacuum mobile game.
I think I have a cool artstyle emerging here! All textures are made with #MaterialMaker, this is a project where I have not busted out Inkscape just yet.
I have started looking into in-app purchases on Play Store.
I definitely don't want to show ads, I hate that, so my business model for this will most likely be free base game + paid DLC.
There's a lot of places I can take the gameplay still. I think visuals are good enough.

There isn't anything named "ork" yet on crates.io, though. I guess we'll go for the runner-up.

Drawing a sketch to be used as an illustration for a blog post was a fun experience. it is better than searching for stock image or (Veles forbid this) use an AI slop generator.
And, in reality... It takes not much more time. Quite comparable.
