Jamming With Edward - Nicky Hopkins, Ry Cooder, Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman & Charlie Watts

Now here's a real curiosity. During recording sessions for Let It Bleed, Keith Richards had left the studio, apparently upset that Ry Cooder had been brought in as a session guitarist.
The remaining Stones, along with Cooder and Nicky Hopkins, a leading session pianist (known by the band, for some reason, as Edward) spent the time jamming. Their efforts were recorded, and this album is the result.
It's pretty much what you'd expect from a jam by a group of leading R & B musicians - great fun but no classic.
