The owner of Notepad v1.0.4 for macOS took the Notepad++ for Windows creator's identity and made it their own brand before changing the name of the software to Nextpad. There's more.

#Nextpad is buggy as all get out on macOS Sequoia (v15).

I had two text windows open in Nextpad for macOS and pressed Command-N to open a third window and the program crashed.

What do you know? There are no recovery options. I have not used Notepad++ for Windows extensively and cannot remember its quirks at this time. IDK if there is a restore or restore save state in *that* program.

That's my red flag. It's not just the name or brand rip-off by the author of Nextpad. I always test software and if it's too buggy then I will leave it be.

Aber die Frage wäre, warum es Schwierigkeiten beim Zugriff gibt? Ist die Instanz nicht stabil erreichbar oder sind die Probleme userseitig?

Ich hatte bspw. mit der Instanz von @digitalcourage noch nie Probleme. Aber es dauert zum Teil ein wenig, bis sich die Datei öffnet. User mit schlechter Verbindung haben dann evtl. Probleme?
