Forget what others might say or think. It's *your* life. (Most people are just jealous they don't have your courage anyway). Go for it. Live loud. Find joy where you can.

In the category of "little victories": I went to lunch with my mom today. Just a while back she was telling me how nonbinary pronouns were hard and confusing.
Today she was proudly recounting all the queer folx and their pronouns from an art class she TA'd earlier in the week.

I stayed in a B&B in Sussex at the weekend. Perfect poached eggs every time. Was told how the owner did it. Live and learn. (No fancy equipment which is good as I dislike too much nic-nac stuff)

I purchased a French press and coffee grinder at a Trinkets and Treasures holiday fundraiser a couple of weeks ago for a grand total of $2.50 (USD). I'm ashamed it has taken me this long in life to realize HOW MUCH BETTER #coffee brewed this way is than a K-cup. #NeverTooOldToLearn

Thrilled how much Te Aka the online https://maoridictionary.co.nz/dictionary-info #Māori dictionary is helping improve my #TeReo use and also ensuring my spelling (and also pronunciation) is correct. So many everyday names in #Aotearoa #NZ I've never seen with tohutō on, such as kūmara. I expect others to spell my English language correctly, so feel I owe Māori the same respect. #NeverTooOldToLearn
