I am currently reading a book by #SteveSilberman called #Neurotribes, and I came across a nice thought that I agree with and that other autistic buddy's might also like.

I just found out the heartbreaking and sudden news that #SteveSilberman passed away yesterday.
His book #NeuroTribes is very important to myself and so many other #Autistic people in helping us know who we are, fight back against decades of "deficit" propaganda, and introducing so many others to the #NeuroDiversity movement.

Rest in power, #JudithHeumann. When I was writing #NeuroTribes, I attended a #neurodiversity conference at Syracuse U in 2011 where Judy introduced @aneeman, the young cofounder of the #Autistic Self-Advocacy Network - a small but crucial moment in her bridge-building in cross-#disability advocacy.
