#netlabelday and #netlabelweek folks, the debtief is on Monday but i figure we might as well get some discussion going about the panels. I haven't asked Jessica, but I am thinking she would be a good moderator for next year. She's relatively new to the #ccmusic scene though not so new that she'll be lost.

Unfortunately, the #netlabelweek panels will be live only on YouTube. I tried going live on peertube but got errors. The recordings will be on #peertube though

The #netlabelweek panels will be run out of a hotel room after my father-in-laws funeral. It has not really been the ideal lead up in many ways and there's no real reason why "the show must go on" but also I think probably the hotel room will be good enough.

If you happen to be in the #Minneapolis area and you need someone to watch your dog while you record or something, I might be able to make that happen. Scheduling might be hard, especially if you are trying to pre-record, but we can try.

There might be someone in your area willing to help you out. You don't know if you don't ask.

In the future, I hope to do more of this type of thing through @friendsofccmusic

@fstateaudio @limebar the worst part about that is it was a demo video I left up so watch while we were deciding a direction to go and there were some pretty bad technical issues but it was just a demo. at some point I might just cull it despite it being the highest. We've got ~7GB so sometime before #netlabelweek in July but doesn't need to be imminent I suppose

I should start a pad for #netlabelweek ideas but one thing that popped in my head was talking to AMarionette about #LasVegas. it's not a very sustainable city but they do know how to do conferences and lots of flights

@ryno @wiloma @Cheesetruck @wjmaggos so, was thinking about the second stream thing and I think since we now have a #NetlabelWeek it might make sense to fill out the week with events and the second stream makes that easier. I wonder two if the Second Stream maybe could be run by Friends of CC Music USA and then we sync the start and finish to central time (or eastern if we want). Maybe on July 14th the stream could be a mirror of the #NetlabelDay feed. just thinking out loud

On today's call, we decided we were going to add #NetlabelWeek to the #NetlabelDay2025 activities. Netlabel Week will start on the second Saturday of July and as such will always include #netlabelday

We discussed at length whether we wanted to have an event called "CC Music Day" or something similar. Theoretically, we could still do that within Netlabel Week.

The hope is that if people are busy on July 14 that this will help folks feel included.
