Ran the Centurion North Downs Way 50 at the weekend.
Felt great in the cool morning conditions, passing 50km in 6:22. Tweaked nutrition to reduce sugar, and that worked well.
Unfortunately then the sun came out, the course got lumpier, and as usual I overheated.
Finally finished in just over 12 hours, but legs feel good, so I still have some running left in me that I hope I can unlock with a better fluid strategy.
