#ncgop pulling the same garbage they always do. A bill to aid Hurricane Helene efforts in Western NC is mostly about trying to strip power from the new Democrat governor and attorney general. These people are anything but serious legislators. They're actively working to make this state worse with every bill they pass and they ONLY work ever in their own interests.

To be clear, it’s obviously him, and his denials are ludicrous. That said, any request to “prove you didn’t do something 10 or 12 years ago” is equally stupid, no matter the activity at issue. Oh, just to be clear for anyone who didn't already know: I grew up in #DurhamNC in the 1970s, came back in ~2002 and have lived here ever since, and have no plans for leaving.
