Ukraine cannot win the war, Slovak foreign affairs minister Juraj Blanár said Thursday after the talks with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó in Bratislava. “We can see the light at the end of the tunnel,” he added, referring to the recent steps taken by the US President Trump's administration.He also criticised EU leaders for pushing forward a narrative that the war in Ukraine can be won. “We don't agree with that,” Blanár said.
At a joint press conference after their meeting, Hungarian foreign minister Péter #Szijjártó said it's only Brussels that wants the war. According to Szijjártó, Brussels and Kyiv pose a risk to the energy stability of Slovakia and Hungary, which can only rely on one another.
