My agents barely need Xcode's UI — they need its services.
A menu-bar daemon: every UI-only operation as MCP (preview targets, adding targets, settings), plus build queueing and nightly sim cleanup.

My frustrations with Apple Journal are still very real.
I'm not holding my breath for WWDC this year to magically fix them... But it would be great if Apple did.

Local LLMs are powerful now. Problem: each app bundles its own, and installing them is too hard for users.
Make it system-level: one place to install models, apps declare requirements, the system picks per device.

1 month until #WWDC26 🔥
Last year I attended WWDC25 and made a video sharing my first impressions of the announcements and the experience of being there 👇🏻
Looking back now, it’s interesting to see which predictions still hold up... 😅

UI tests are too brittle — they break on every layout tweak.
What could flip this: an LLM following plain-English goals, adapting to renames, failing only when unintuitive.

Hey fellow #iosdev people! Who will be in Cupertino this year at #WWDC? What events do you attend to? Drop me a line if you want to meet in person #iOSCommunity #iOS #wwdc26

Today, 100% of my agent UI verification goes through screenshots or the accessibility tree. Both wrong tools.
What apps need: a structured view tree — frames, gestures, async hooks — as data.

One of the best CommunityKit events is back for another year, and all indie developers should come – we give you free space to show off your app to other developers, hand out (or collect!) swag, and get a whole range of ideas from others.
If you're in Cupertino for #WWDC26 week, you should come! Even better, show off your app too – you can still register for a spot!
