An idea that keeps popping back into my head: #namedDataNetworking as the fundamental inter-process communication protocol for an OS / programming system.
In theory it should be even more network transparent than pipes.
Possibly also resilient to power and connection loss if you store interest packets in non-volatile memory.
Processes are mostly/purely reactive and respond when a named packet arrives.

I wonder if companies like #Cloudflare would help or hinder the adoption of alternative #networking solutions like #NamedDataNetworking (#NDN)? 🤔
On the one hand, it would probably make their infrastructure stronger, but on the other, if everyone adopts it, fewer people will need Cloudflare. -
Apparently these aren't as well known as I assumed they were, so here is some tech that I think would make a good #web0 . (like #web3 but more actual #decentralization and less bullshit)
