In #Friendica we cannot set the language for a post? Strange, because otherwise it looks far more featureful than e.g. #Mastodon 😞
In general, I like Mastodon better than Friendica, because I'm used to it. I disliked Mastodon 10+ years ago, because I was used to #Diaspora 😉
In my favourite #socialApp, #Movim by @movim, I'm also missing language features, i.e. set language(s) per post and filtering my #timelime by language 🤷

We don't need #xmpp with "consistent user interfaces" (for the user) – that's from #Psi+ to #Movim. Nothing in common, except what's under the hood.

Tonight's Spaces status:
- Numerous stability fixes ✅
- Notifications are properly working ✅
- Admins can set admin/member role to the Space users ✅There is still some notifications feature to be done... and stability improvement and I think I'll be good to merge a first preview of the Spaces in Movim 👀 Interested to try it out ?
I repeat that everything done so far works on a standard #ejabberd #XMPP server without any specific hack. It is just very basic MUC + Pubsub XMPP put together so it should work "out of the box" (minor a small config to declare where the Spaces are created) to work ✨
