The #moosh plugin for #Moodle allows many tasks to be performed from the command line. Years ago I wrote scripts to generate shell files that would export courses in *.mbz files from one machine and import them into another.
There is a huge array of things you can do with it and it is something every Moodle admin should be aware of.
