CW: Wheel of time tv spoilers, episode 5
I am really trying hard to view the prime series as a “different turning of the wheel” as someone else on Mastadon worded it. It’s hard. With this episode, I can’t get over Moiraine killing the horse. She is goal-oriented and can seem harsh, but I just can’t imagine her doing that. Is there anything remotely comparable in the books that I’ve just blanked on? I could see her riding a horse near to death, but killing one in cold blood when she was setting up a false trail anyway? Am I the only one who had problems with this scene? Am I missing something? #WheelOfTime #WheelOfTimeSeason2 #WOT #Moiraine

But damn, how could this 4th episode end on such a cliffhanger!!!Ok, now I’m sucked in and may reluctantly try to start reading it again. My son tells me that others are like me and can’t get into the novels for many pages of the first novel.
