Project Kid Silk Mohair Shawl has officially started, foundation chain down and triple checked for correct number of chains, first row half finishes, forgot to count had to frog it VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY and am now redoing it, making doubly sure to count everything, putting in stitch markers every 25 stitches and double checking every time i reach a marker.
This is very much not how i normally work, I am usually a big believer of 'Eh close enough' and fudging it, but this is such a precious material and I am making it to wear at my wedding so I really want it to be Properly made, you know?Ah it's gonna be so pretty when it's done 🤩

Sunday Sweater Mohair Edition is, I believe, the third jumper I’ve ever knitted. While there are many things about it that I’d like to change (with the knowledge and the tools I have now), I still love it and wear it often. I will definitely knit another version of it but in a different colour.

Hi Elle, in my experience, the difficulty depends greatly on the manufacturer. My faves are Shibui Knits' Silk Cloud 400 yds and Tweed Silk Cloud 190 yds. It's strong w/delicate haze, amazing palette. Only problem is company is closing :-( so snap it up now.
#2 is Rowan's Kidsilk Haze. WEBS sells it for a good price in 60 colors! Hope that's helpful. 🧶💕
