Bah, the internet is borked. It's been dodgy since last week when we had a fairly big storm come over, and so we called the provider and they couldn't do anything. So the technician came today to check. He spent the entire day here. Really, all day. Thinks it was probably the storm, but as soon as he fixed one fault, another would appear.
He'll be back on Monday, and meanwhile I'm hotspotting from my phone and trying to save data. Wonder how much writing I'll get done this weekend?! Probably more than usual!

Finally broke down and we got a Kitchen Aid mini mixer to make roti dough (and other things).
We didn't expect it to be so *heavy *duty. We don't usually seek out all the mod cons but we are genuinely impressed with the quality of the machine - and the final product (see the next post for an image!)
