This Mitchell and Webb Homeopathic A&E bit is right up there in drama with that new show, The Pitt.
One of the things that I truly appreciate about M&W (if I'm interpreting this correctly) is that instead of abandoning bits which they must have liked very much, but which landed with a thud, they'd keep bringing them back until the repetition MADE them funny.
I'm thinking here of the post-disaster quiz show, the Caesar salad guy, and that unfortunate salaryman whose boss kept giving him 2 important tasks that were easy -- but unfortunate -- to confuse.
As a USian, I probably miss a tonne of the nuances, but these guys kill me nonetheless.

I don't understand how ICE agents don't realize they are the bad guys. Never in the history of civilization have armed, uniformed, masked agents that operate outside the law and aren't accountable been the good guys..

As a USian, I'm sure that I miss a significant percentage of their jabs, but their humor seems absolutely universal for our modern dystopian times.

All the news coverage of food prices driving inflation, and in particular the suggestions that people should start choosing 'value' range products (as if most aren't already there), keeps reminding me of Mitchell and Webb's Didldidi spoof discount supermarket ads.
