Just had to rip back two inches of the eyelet pattern because I somehow managed to forget to separate the sleeves out 😕 #misurina #knitting

most of the time when I do colorwork, it's fair-isle type -- and I just carry both yarn colors togeather, and pull whichever I need from the twine. but with the #misurina, I have to manage the floats over the cable, and that makes that twining ineffective. alternatively I need to learn a float management technique that's not "twist the yarns against the grain in the back every couple stitches"

after two rows of colorwork on the fives i used for the lace, i moved up to sevens, and wow after another two rounds I can ALREADY tell it's helped the tension.
i wonder if one of those colorwork rings would help with managing the multiple yarn streams or if it would just annoy me. i almost have my pinky flexible/strong enough to manage the contrast color, but not QUITE. #knitting #misurina

also i'm debating tearing back to the start of the lacework and going back down to a 5 or something. the ribbing was a 4, but i think the 7 is just slightly too loose. #knitting #misurina
