What a hard life. She woke up from her hiding place under my bed, drank some water, and went back to sleep on one of her beds in the bedroom.

If someone told me that when I am 62 years old, I will be putting my finger inside a dog's anus to clean up her anal glands, I would have laughed out loud and called them crazy!
Mellie has been scooching alot lately, she is very uncomfortable and licks her but a lot.
I used to take her to the vet for our seasonal visit and ask the vet to clean it up for me, but since I am living on extreme low budget, the poor Mellie has to accept my "treatment" instead of his favorite person (she loves our vet a lot).
I am very glad I still had a few gloves in the first aid kit and managed to squeeze her but in the shower.
SHE WAS NOT HAPPY!
But she is now walking around "normal" and not scooching on the rug all the time!
Me on the other hand, had to wash my hand 3-4 times, even though I was wearing gloves!

Poor Mellie was hiding in the bathroom and I put some towels on her to calm her down during the #July14 ( #BastilleDay) #Fireworks.
Poor thing was shaking and terrified.
