Relaxing in the park. It's chill and nice wind so nice to be able to enjoy it after so many terrible heatwavs.
And as bonus, managed to get a nice picture of her. She doesn't like her pictures taken.
I like retirement.
Just wish I could have sold the apartment and had my own little house in central parts of France.
But hopefully next year.

Took Mellie to the vet today
She has been having rashes on her belly and skooching a lot.
She got 2 shots, a cream and bunch of pills. Plus an update on her allergy medicine.
Have to increase her medicine to once a day for 10 days and after that going to give her half a pill every other day.
Plus antiinflammatory medicine twice a day for 2 weeks.
Poor thing had to suffer because I didn't have money, but hopefully she will be okay and happy again.

What a hard life. She woke up from her hiding place under my bed, drank some water, and went back to sleep on one of her beds in the bedroom.

2 chicken legs. 1 large onions. Slow cooked with salt pepper and turmeric and a spoon of home made hot sauce.10 cubes of frozen spinach, one small can of chickpeas and some pasta.
Lunch and dinner for me and Mellie.

If someone told me that when I am 62 years old, I will be putting my finger inside a dog's anus to clean up her anal glands, I would have laughed out loud and called them crazy!
Mellie has been scooching alot lately, she is very uncomfortable and licks her but a lot.
I used to take her to the vet for our seasonal visit and ask the vet to clean it up for me, but since I am living on extreme low budget, the poor Mellie has to accept my "treatment" instead of his favorite person (she loves our vet a lot).
I am very glad I still had a few gloves in the first aid kit and managed to squeeze her but in the shower.
SHE WAS NOT HAPPY!
But she is now walking around "normal" and not scooching on the rug all the time!
Me on the other hand, had to wash my hand 3-4 times, even though I was wearing gloves!

I am very glad I still had a few gloves in the first aid kit and managed to squeeze her but in the shower.
SHE WAS NOT HAPPY!
But she is now walking around "normal" and not scooching on the rug all the time!
Me on the other hand, had to wash my hand 3-4 times, even though I was wearing gloves!
