Took Mellie to the vet today
She has been having rashes on her belly and skooching a lot.
She got 2 shots, a cream and bunch of pills. Plus an update on her allergy medicine.
Have to increase her medicine to once a day for 10 days and after that going to give her half a pill every other day.
Plus antiinflammatory medicine twice a day for 2 weeks.
Poor thing had to suffer because I didn't have money, but hopefully she will be okay and happy again.

Baking some treats for Neloie, using broth from bones I cooked, some meat, fat and other stuff from butcher, cooked with sweet potatoes, carrots, string beans, oat and flour.
It will be a lot of treats to freeze with a full pot of bones and 2L of broth.
Mellie likes it so far. Will see how she does after a few days/weeks. Good way of saving money and giving Mellie good treats.

Had to put all of Mellies toys away for the visitors of our apartment, and gave back her new toy.
It made her very happy.

Almost finished shaving Mellie. Ran out of battery on my shaver, so I'm recharging it.
She seems to have some skin problem, have to visit the vet to get proper medicine or shampoo. She has been very uncomfortable and itchy lately.
Firs to have to finish shaving her for summer heat. Then book a time with the vet later today.

Tried to trim Mellie a final trim to fix parts I missed last time.
I didn't do a great job, but at least she doesn't lookike a homeless dog any more. I need to buy scissors that are safe to trim her fur because the ones I have are not safe and I'm afraid I may poke her in the face of eye.Tomorrow is bath time.
