@antjeschrupp Lektüre-Tipp: »Sewer, Gas & Electric: The Public Works Trilogy« (1997; Dt. »G.A.S. – Die Trilogie der Stadtwerke«, 1998) von #MattRuff ist eine haarsträubend-relevante Auseinandersetzung mit Ayn Rand.

Und Beispiel dafür, dass #JJAbrams nicht NUR Kack baut.

OK, got the digital book now... I will make a plan to read it after the Lovecraft's anthology I'm still reading now. Hoping it may be so good as I saw from the TV series.

I finished watching that TV series. I really enjoyed watching it. So bad second season was cancelled. I think I should take a look at the book. (Yes, I did not know there were a book of that, me bad)

I rarely reread books but Fool on the Hill is an old favorite; first read when I was 19 or 20, loved it, reread a couple of times in my 20s. #MattRuff became a favorite author and I've read and enjoyed most of his subsequent novels.

I decided to reread Fool again (after enjoying Tomorrow X3) and what a difference 30 years makes! I still love it and would still recommend it to aspiring writers, but it's definitely an artifact of the 80s, and definitely a first novel.
