@apehuman amazing tips. Picture books are hit or miss. Baby loves anything red where I make a higher pitch voice. Grover did not go down as well for baby as it did for me in the 80s.
Tummy time today cames with a post tummy chill out for the duration of Bedknobs & Broomsticks for the parents - and "woop woop I have a walnut" time for baby.
Walnut is the current #1 favourite "ball".
Went back to work after a 2mo #MatLeave. Not much daytime, need to sing more on weekend ☑️

It is my last week of #MaternityLeave #MatLeave! I have a lot of leave accrued which will take me off till Feb but this week feels important. I thought I'd do a thread of reflections about #parenthood #parenting #academia being an #academicmum / #academicmom and #SocialCare in the UK.
It may take me a while. In addition, this thread will have triggers such as discussions of #pregnancy, #fertility, #childcare etc
