The non-obvious way that reply relates to a previous toot troubles me.
If levels of dialogue increased 10 fold as I hope they will then following who is replying to what is looking impossible to me.
Though maybe there us a setting switch that will change the layout.

click on equaliser-style icon top right for settings.
Many got there ages ago, but others will still be working as I do from multitabs, which is still very useful.
* NB 1: 3rd column opens when you click a profile in whatever 2 columns you have up. Notifications could be #Fediverse.
