Ok so the last few days I’ve not been able to see pics on here it’s just blank squares. Now people’s profile pics are blank too, on both desktop browser (Firefox) and mastodon app on phone. Cannot find any info anywhere. Help? #mastadonhelp

I know you can follow ppl (obviously lol) & hashtags/topics...on twitter, you can follow a list created by a user, is that possible here?

I use lists a lot. To organize my sports friends by teams (then during a game, I load the corrosponding list & voila, my fellow fans, watching & discussing with me (I add ppl often & also load hashtag I follow))

So ... can people be a part of more than one instance? For instance, if I want to stay on the server I'm on and be able to talk about anything, can I also be part of an instance that only shows animal photos? Or do I not have to be part of that instance, do I just search that instance or something like that?

Sorry, I'm enjoying mastodon, but still not quite getting it.
