The explore tab (the magnifying glass tab) has stopped loading in @IceCubesApp for the last couple of days. It works file in the OG mastodon app. Any ideas why? Tried the usual stuff like clearing cache and reinstalling.

Man Arrested in Las Piñas City for Usurpation of Authority and Possession of Firearm

Recently in Las Piñas City, police officers apprehended a man for the usurpation of authority and the possession of a firearm, according to a news report by The Daily Tribune. The police officers were conducting an operation when the suspect introduced himself to them as a Philippine Army member.

To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from The Daily Tribune news report. Some parts in boldface…

A 34-year-old man was apprehended for usurpation of authority and violation of Section 7 of Republic Act No. 10591 during an Oplan Bakal operation in Las Piñas City early Monday morning, 24 August.

At about 1:20 a.m., personnel of the CAA Sub-Station conducted the operation at a resto bar along J. Aguilar Avenue, Barangay Pulang Lupa Dos.

The suspect, identified as alias Noe, allegedly introduced himself as a member of the Philippine Army and disclosed that he was carrying a firearm inside his belt bag.

During verification, he failed to present a valid Philippine Army identification card but produced a License to Own and Possess Firearms, Firearm Registration and Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence.

Police confiscated a .45-caliber Thunder Bolt pistol bearing serial No. TB09190789, five magazines, 49 rounds of live ammunition and a black belt bag.

Here's what I learned.

1. Kamurocho adds to what i see, not whether anyone sees me. following != followed.

2. Mastadon is more built for replying to people than it is being replied to.

3. shocking absolutely no one, a venn diagram of "my interests" has exactly one member. instances of perfect vibes (i love the queer instances lol) have little of my interests. instances with my specific interests have no vibe.

anyway. hi. i liked osrs for like 2 weeks before getting a PS5. and cats and overthinking website choices and excavating why i am sam i am. be my witness 🍻

i think i'm gonna play some more OSRS, actually. I miss it :(

Man Arrested in Las Piñas City over Possession of Illegal Firearm

Recently in Las Piñas City, police officers armed with a search warrant apprehended a man for the illegal possession of a firearm, according to a news report by The Daily Tribune.

To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from The Daily Tribune news report. Some parts in boldface…

Man was arrested for alleged illegal possession of a firearm during the implementation of a search warrant in Las Piñas City on 14 August.

Arrested was alias Toto, of legal age, for violation of Section 28(a) of Republic Act No. 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

At about 8:45 a.m., personnel of the Pamplona Sub-Station, Station Intelligence and Detective Management Section, intelligence operatives, Tactical Motorcycle Reaction Unit, and Special Weapons and Tactics implemented a search warrant issued by Judge Pia Cristina Bersamin-Embuscado at the suspect’s residence in Villa Monique Homes, Barangay Pamplona Tres.

During the search, police personnel who acted as the searcher, recovered one caliber .38 revolver loaded with four live rounds of ammunition and one handkerchief.

Following the operation, (they) arrested suspect and the recovered evidence were brought to the SIDMS for investigation and proper disposition.
