_Timelock_ mini-review and viewing guide
After having fun doing reviews of #SomethingIsOutThere I figure I'd do one for #Timelock - a lesser known Maryam d'Abo space prison movie from 1996.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxW4bbAg2KE
As in _Something is Out There_, d'Abo plays a crew member of a space prison ship, albeit this time she's human and the captain of the ship.
It's a bit of a fun diversion.

TV Series Ep8: _The Keeper_
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTKU3KXtiIY
The last episode produced, this show went out with a bang! A tantalizing glimpse of what might have been, laden with creepy alien special effects.

Bottom line: If you watch any of this TV series, watch The Keeper. It's the closest to what the mini-series promised.

TV Series Ep7: _A Hearse Of Another Color_

This one just goes silly and comedic. Jack's loser cousin works for a funeral home and gets caught up in trouble involving drug smuggling somehow.

Bottom line: If you find the comedy tiresome in the first ten minutes, skip the rest. Otherwise, have fun!

TV Series Ep6: _Good Psychics Are Hard to Come By_
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XelDHRj2oNI
This is the last episode aired in the first run, and it's a great one!
A highlight is when a disillusioned Ta'Ra asks Jack, "Why do people lie?"

Bottom line: Another highlight of the series, but only watch if you're in a mood for something heavier with less levity.

TV Series Ep5: _A Message from Mr Cool_
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTFElg5FoBs
With faltering ratings, they revamp the opening to look more sci-fi and dramatic.
Regardless of the opening intro rebrand, the episode itself continues in the trend of psychological drama rather than alien SFX spectacle.

Bottom line: Have fun watching Ta'Ra be thirty, flirty and thriving.

Ep4: _Night of the Visitors_

An excellent episode with an X-Files vibe. Are aliens real? He's skeptical, but she believes. Oh wait. He KNOWS an alien - her.

Ep3: _In His Own Image_
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NULphcHzS8o
The A plot is a House of Wax situation where a wax museum artist is threatened by his twin brother who has escaped a facility for the criminally insane.
If you think you know where this story is going, you are absolutely correct.

Bottom line - Have fun watching the B plot. Just don't expect any surprises in the A plot.

TV Series Ep2: _Don't Look Back_
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRLftmlbLuE
This episode has a smaller scale feeling, focusing more on character study.

Bottom line - Watch this one for the sweet interactions of the protagonists and this kid, and the weird time Jack has trying to explain the concept of raising children to Ta'Ra.

TV Series Ep1: Gladiator
Due to the popularity of the miniseries, _Something is Out There_ was hastily made into a TV series. However, it struggled and was cancelled after only 8 episodes were produced.

Part 1: The Mini-Series
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BhxItrsy3E
_Something is Out There_ was a well received alien monster TV mini-series that was hastily made into a very short lived TV series due to its unexpected popularity. The main characters are a not-Michael Douglas cop and an alien woman played by Maryam d'Abo.
