One of the common conceits of #DnD (and many other #TTRPG that allow interplanar travel) is that the planes/dimensions of existence can be described by reference to a series of dichotomies (or axes, if you like nuance) -- "lawful plane vs chaotic plane," "scientific dimension vs magical dimension," and so on.

    Pretty normal gaming, right? (Even #ADnD tried to formalize this concept in the #ManualofThePlanes.) Now, consider one of those dichotomies should be "essentialism vs existentialism."
