I’ve landed on a conclusion about #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds #SNW. For all the little gimmicks the series has pulled off right from the beginning, genuinely only two episodes (to date) are WAY over the top: the musical and the puppets. Both still FUN.
I’d considered including the #LowerDecks crossover and the film noir episode, but if it had been #TNG instead of Lower Decks characters, it wouldn’t have been perceived as a gimmick. And sorry, but film noir style was a valid plot device AFAIC.

Fünf Episoden in Folge, die nur Remakes irgendwelcher bekannten Kulturprodukte sind, die auf der Enterprise spielen und im Star Trek Muppets Special ihren traurigen Höhepunkt gefunden haben.
