It should be a fun episode. I was there for filming. Did not “come on down” though a lot of folks in my area did. I’m the dummy in purple Worf shirt doing the #LowerDecks-inspired vulcan salute.

“Shaxs' Best (and Worst) Day” finally arrived! I special ordered it at my local bookstore back in the spring, and was told then that the American edition was readily available but the Canadian one was out of stock. I definitely wanted the Canadian edition and decided to wait for it, so this is how long it took to come in. 😸

I can't believe they actually EXIST and finally arrived after... years of a pending order? Damn.
I'm finding I enjoy figs like this IN their packaging nowadays, interestingly. And not because it keeps their 'value' (a nice bonus), but I find I enjoy the presentation as much as anything. (Unlike starships which beg to be shown off raw, unbound.)

I’ve landed on a conclusion about #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds #SNW. For all the little gimmicks the series has pulled off right from the beginning, genuinely only two episodes (to date) are WAY over the top: the musical and the puppets. Both still FUN.
I’d considered including the #LowerDecks crossover and the film noir episode, but if it had been #TNG instead of Lower Decks characters, it wouldn’t have been perceived as a gimmick. And sorry, but film noir style was a valid plot device AFAIC.

Jetzt hat #StrangeNewWorlds endgültig den Hai gesprungen. Fünf Episoden in Folge, die nur Remakes irgendwelcher bekannten Kulturprodukte sind, die auf der Enterprise spielen und im Star Trek Muppets Special ihren traurigen Höhepunkt gefunden haben. Könnten wir vielleicht wieder richtig ernsthaftes #StarTrek bekommen, so wie #LowerDecks?
