Look what arrived in my mailbox today - "The Art of #StarTrekLowerDecks"! 😍 This is an excellent book with many many pictures, design sketches and background tidbits. Each episode is covered on 4-8 pages and it includes COUNTLESS beautiful images and orthos of all the various alien and Starfleet ships seen on the show. Of course, all the different versions of the USS Cerritos (inside+outside) seen on the show are also covered. My verdict: "This book will nourish me for a long, long time!" 😊

Even though Sisko's Creole Kitchen first appeared in #StarTrekDS9's "Homefront" and "Paradise Lost", the huge neon sign only appeared in "Image in the Sand"⬆️ and then in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Grounded"⬅️. The sign appears again in #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Acclimation Mil"➡️ and the name of the restaurant is spoken for the first time ⬇️.

(The) FNN, the Federation New Network (emblem), has appeared in several #StarTrek episodes so far (#ShortTreks "Children of Mars", #StarTrekPicard's "Remembrance", #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Grounded") and now is also seen, slightly changed after 800 years, in #StarfleetAcademy's "Vox In Excelso". I can confirm that FNN did not appear in "Star Trek: Generations", as I did extensive research on that:

Kind of sad to not see the Cerritos and the Protostar in the new Star Trek 60th anniversary opening.

While it's nice that there are references to both Lower Decks and Prodigy in Starfleet Academy, the omission leaves a bit of a sting.
