Railway bridge over a country road, built between 1916 and 1925.
Part of a planned marshalling yard, one of the largest such projects in Europe, never completed.
Construction began during World War I due to acute rail capacity shortages. In the postwar economic crisis, work was permanently halted in 1925, before the facility ever went into operation.
The bridge remained standing, a relic of an unfinished large scale project.

Railway bridge, built 1916, railing almost fully overgrown.
Two crossbars on rusted posts, remnants of the bridge structure.
Climbing plants and shrubs have wrapped so tightly around the metal that the structure is barely recognizable as a standalone form in places.
No isolating, no dominating, vegetation has taken over here.
Over a hundred years of railway history, now vanished into green.
