The brush fire burning near Encinal Canyon and Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles County is currently holding at 146 acres. Firefighters remain on scene and continue working to contain the incident.
The fire remains entirely within Los Angeles County and does not currently pose a threat to Ventura County, although smoke may be visible from portions of the county. The incident remains under the command of the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The Ventura County Fire Department is participating as an agency representative to maintain situational awareness and support coordination should the fire spread westward toward Ventura County.
Additional incident updates will be provided by the Los Angeles County Office of Emergency Management.
