A new weapon in my arsenal is a #Pollymin developing tank. I knew something was afoot when I was able to load the film on to the spool with almost no problems (a first for me) Obviously 120 film wasn't about to let me off the hook. The negatives have a streak that runs (almost) the entire length of both films I used.

Apple Maps w wersji przeglądarkowej, dostępne od czerwca w wersji beta, zyskało funkcję Look Around – odpowiednik Street View.

Funkcja pozwala na eksplorowanie okolicy dzięki panoramicznym widokom 360° i jest dostępna w wybranych miastach USA, Kanady, Australii, Wielkiej Brytanii, UE i innych krajach.

Aplikacja przeglądarkowa Apple Maps wciąż pozostaje w fazie publicznej bety i oferuje m.in. wyszukiwanie firm, punktów zainteresowania oraz tras. Brakuje jednak funkcji, takich jak mapy transportu publicznego, budynki 3D czy logowanie za pomocą Apple ID.

Dostęp do Apple Maps w przeglądarce można uzyskać na stronie beta.maps.apple.com w Safari, Chrome, Edge i Firefox. Apple zapowiada dalsze rozszerzenia funkcji oraz wsparcie dla kolejnych języków i platform.

Niedawne odkrycie użytkownika X/Twittera, Ryana Fae, udostępnione przez serwis MacRumors, ujawnia, że format kafelków wektorowych Map Apple, używany w wersji beta webowej wersji Apple Maps zawiera informacje o przyszłych obszarach zasięgu Look Around. Informacje te, znalezione w kodzie aplikacji Mapy, przedstawiają bardziej rozległą sieć planowanego zasięgu, która znacznie wykracza poza to, co jest obecnie dostępne.

#AppleMaps now has pretty good coverage of #LookAround (their version of #StreetView) in The Netherlands and it works beautifully, except you can only access it from the "Explore" view, not Satellite, and that view sucks. Not enough colours, not enough contrast, not enough detail! Also, and for the same reasons, the Look Around highlights don't stand out enough. And it's hard to drop the binoculars precisely, especially combined with zooming/scrolling.
