Finally, I am making myself a holidays present and ordering a new (mini) barebone PC tomorrow.
I think I will go with a #Gigabyte Brix, #AMD Ryzen 7 4800U, 2x8GB RAM #Kingston Fury (3200Mhz) and a #Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB
Any valuable objections anyone? π
But I think this comes completely handy with the latest #Linuxmint 20.3 release just around the corner π

Actually I created the first useful notification (imho π)
Since I have an unused hardware button at the side of my laptop I can press that now even while typing, and I will get a nice notification with the remaining battery percentage (and a motivating personal note π)
So that's nice especially I am not using the OS battery display in any panel or whatever. For my use-case it is even distraction free. Really like itthat way π»

I created a little status thingy bash script for #mocp (https://github.com/jonsafari/mocp)
It's neither fancy nor full of features. The only purpose is for me to have a status widget on my #Mate desktop panel in #Linuxmint.
Anything that could be improved, simplified or generally enhanced? I am curious to learn. Thanks! π€

Btw for being a #LinuxMint fanboy.... have I ever mentioned before, that the Disk Usage Analyzer is sooooooo neat and useful? π»
Makes it a lot easier to spot large folders and files that consume lots of space. I know, I know, it's a GUI application. Give me something similar easy to use on the command line and I might consider switching π
