@frumble

@stenpett @CriticalNateTheory @linuxmint
Or even stable. Sometimes people recommend to "move on" once they learned and understood a bit of Linux. And then there are people like me....After using Linux Mint for over 10 years now, I've tinkered the sh*t out of it 😅

@goldbrush @matt
They're alive and kicking ...... #lmfanboy 😎

@Lamal

Recently fresh installed the latest #linuxmint
Every time I notice, how much more automation I could spin into my restore scripts, to get everything the way it was before. And then time goes by until the next clean install and I'm thinking the exact same 😅
#lmfanboy (for the non existing algorithm 🤣)

@PictoPulse356
excellent choice if I may add 😎
#lmfanboy

@eltheanine sounds like "great fun for the entire family" 😅

@Natsura
yepp, LM really is a treat. And with the words of "for beginners" I argue: I became a somewhat minor poweruser with a usecount of +10 years by now. That said, have fun with it, learn from it and enjoy the ride 🙋‍♂️ 🐧

@Tattooed_Mummy
Excited maybe. But definitely nothing to worry about at all 🤓👍

@neonriser
Paah, you don't need luck. Only a bit of patience. Ok actually not even that because even on older hardware, it installs and configures quite quickly. Have fun! 🥳

@rohad
Congratulations to this excellent choice! 👏
#lmfanboy 😎

@WineandVines
Have fun with that new journey
Over here using LM for over 9 years now.
Let us know if you have any questions

@notBioMatic
8 years and counting 😎
You either will end up with no issues, you getting used to it and find ways around and consequently to live with it. Or you move on. Choice's yours.....

@allyngibson
Love it 😻
Looks like a sweet harmoning piece together!

@kenny
Well chosen imho
#lmfanboy 🤘

This year I've ignored it for a bit. But for a real #lmfanboy of course I also need to install the latest #linuxmint. Wipe and clean for sure since I don't like upgrading 😎
First thing to try would be updating #xfce to 4.18
Will see how that goes....

@Caymon @linuxmint
Exact same thoughts over here. 👍
Yes it might be a great beginner friendly OS. But nothing stops one from getting more advanced with it. From a happy #lmfanboy since 2015 🥳

I think I gonna skip the #linuxmint 21.1 update, since latest #xfce4.18 anyway isn't shipped with it. But in the end I guess, as a #lmfanboy I will try it out regardless 🤷 🤓

@krb
I actually kind of own the #lmfanboy hashtag. At least until now nobody has used it yet.
So yes, Mint user for many years here 🙋‍♂️

@blepharon
old #lmfanboy here 🙋‍♂️
Happy to read about your very well first experience. Keep on having fun with it 🙏 🐧

@nathans420
welcome on the green side 💚
In case of questions, community is here to help. Just #linuxmint hashtag your toots.
Also over here: #lmfanboy 😎

@guru
It's a fine distro, including starters.
I am using it for many years now (#lmfanboy 🤓), Ubuntu/Debian base makes it very stable. Despite it is called "for beginners" I got quite advanced with it, although probably still a beginner in the whole Linux curve and tinkered the system up and down.
Old hardware, new hardware, doesn't really matter. You should be fine 👍
And if something do'h do'h...just yell...politely though 😉

@codeHaiku
Strongly agree, hence my profile's stating #lmfanboy 😎
Soon hopefully welcome to the "green side" 🤝
Running the Xfce spin over here.

@Willy_Wuff
#lmfanboy 😎

@Wilfred
Although this is still the live version 🧐
But with #xfce on older hardware, system is running great. Doing the same over here with an Atom Celeron 🤓
#lmfanboy

It's awesome that I entirely own the #lmfanboy hashtag.
And don't you dare.... 😈 😹
Or maybe #linuxmint isn't that cool after all. 🙃

@ulintl
Dann nenne mich Dauer-Umsteiger.
#lmfanboy

It's the most wonderful time of the year...... 🎵🎶🤓

Playing around with some styling in the gtk.css for my #xfce panel widget scripts (via #genmon)
Aaargh, css has a weird syntax though!
But happy to see that the switch from #mate to xfce was worth it. The latter I find much easier to configure more individually.
And so the saga continues to more and more turn a DE into a #twm look alike.... 😅

@dhusch
Challenge accepted! 😎

@dallin @darylsun
#lmfanboy that's all I am gonna say. It really 8s a pleasant experience 👍🤓

@lauteshirn @mj
#lmfanboy 😁✊

@lauteshirn
