#today there is a little urgent-ish #lifeAdmin to do, at least a little #NewScientist article splurge, and then hopefully the few lines of initial code fixes for my #buildingModel work.

I slept badly, and today is not forecast to be as sunny as yesterday, so some of that may slow me down. I did remember when up at 3am to make a big pot of #coldbrew coffee.

Given I'm still feeling so grim, I'm staying at home and doing #LifeAdmin.

Cancelling unwanted subscriptions, changing my mobile provider, reducing monthly costs. Every pound saved helps fund future trips lol ✈️

#LifeAdmin: the last pack of bin bags inserted into the bin, the box the pack of packs came in recycled, another box of packs ordered. Weird how much easier that sort of stuff is when working from home. If I'd been heading out to work I'd have put the fresh bag and pack in and doubtless recycled the box on my way out the door, but almost certainly just bunged the order on the shopping list rather than actually getting it done there and then. it was a 30 second job while I made myself a coffee and had 0 impact on my work for the day but wouldn't have happened if I wasn't at home.

Finally sorted my RUC for my RV. Had to double check I was reading the odometer right 'cause it was at exactly 56,000 Km. Since RUC is bought in 1,000 Km increments, I guess it will make it easier to figure out when I'm due to buy some more?

Had some extra $ in the car maintenance fund so I've bought what I hope is a year's worth of RUC. There is so much admin. to just keep a car street legal, and now this is one more.

Finally sorted my RUC for my RV. Had to double check I was reading the odometer right 'cause it was at exactly 56,000 Km. Since RUC is bought in 1,000 Km increments, I guess it will make it easier to figure out when I'm due to buy some more?

Took Friday and today off work. So far:

😡 Boiller condemned as unsafe. Arranged a replacement for ££££

🚗 Car MOT, thankfully passed

👕 Grabbed the last remaining white t-shirt in London for The Boy's uniform

🍲 Cooked all the food

😱 Scared a delivery driver senseless, see photo...

Take-home message:

Give yourself the permission to take some time off for #SelfCare and #LifeAdmin whenever possible, but choose your timing if applying a face mask
