Good Morning #Canada
Canadians should reflect back on the glorious past few weeks and the excitement provided by the Toronto #BlueJays. A team not expected to contend for any title when the season began, they surprised the experts, the fans, and the teams that stood in their way. Some Canadians had flashbacks to previous World's Series Championships, some younger fans built their own memories, and millions jumped on board the bandwagon. We celebrated every pitch, every swing of the bat, every win that brought us closer to a championship, and each other. If you can't change the situation you're in - or the final score in a game 7 - you can always change your perspective. Don't be sad for our Blue Jays. Remember the joy they brought us individually and collectively. -

Good Morning #Canada
October 20th, 1992, is a history making day for Major League Baseball. The 1st World Series game is played outside the United States at the Skydome in Toronto. Home town Blue Jays put the chop on the Atlanta Braves 3-2 in Game 3, taking the series lead, 2 games to 1.
BTW - One of the highlights of my #BlueJays memories was Game 4. I was in the stands, Level 500 on the 3rd base side, when Jimmy Key shut down the Braves over 7 innings. The atmosphere was electric that entire day, from walking through the pregame crowds on Front Street to cheering every pitch during the game. I don't remember much about the drive home, just that it was slow making my way through a sea of honking vehicles.#CanadaIsAwesome #LetsGoBlueJays

I haven't watched or listened to a game in several years. But I'm listening to it today via a game party on my neighbour's deck. They have a big TV set up and I'm BBQing and cheering when I hear the announcer. My neighbour is yelling, Paul, did you hear that..."
