Morning all!
As it's Sunday, it's #allotment day.
I went yesterday to pay the rent for 2027 on the plot we're keeping, and I discussed my plans for handing back plot 91, which will probably be mid-November.
As I made an unexpectedly good start on moving the pear tree, today I need to dig a hole to move it into. I'll also try and get a start on the holes for the new Apple trees that are due later this year.
I should be melancholy about giving back that second plot, but now I'm getting closer to having only one plot again it feels like a relief that I can concentrate on managing one garden better, rather than two half-heartedly.
I just hope the new tenant keeps the apple and pear trees I put in there ten years ago.
The weather forecast is similar to yesterday - cool and dry.
