Lee Ostertag is the artist of a really awesome discontinued webcomic called Strong Female Protagonist, which you should read if you haven't.

In 1991, a giant thunderstorm covered the whole world. In 2005, a bunch of people suddenly manifest superpowers, all 14 years old. The superpowered people ("biodynamic people" in the comic's terminology) dawn masks and become superheroes or supervillains in the style of silver age comic books.

Five years later, all supervillains have either reformed or been captured. The former superheroes and reformed former supervillains start adulthood needing to figure out what to do with their lives. The protagonist, Allison Green, formerly known as Mega Girl, has powers that made her the greatest hero in the world when it came to fighting supervillains. But with no more supervillains, she realizes her powers can't solve problems like world hunger or climate change. She still has the same drive to help people, but she has to do it as Allison instead of as Mega Girl.
