I have created a video to explain my local_reportsources plugin which allows the creation of core #Moodle reportbuilder reports using ad-hoc SQL. It also has an optional #AI assistant to create the SQL.
It is compatible with both #MySQL and #Postgres and can use special tokens such as %%NOW%% to allow queries that use dates to work accross both systems.
