"I Want Your Love" is a song by American band Chic from their second studio album #CestChic (1978). Featuring a solo lead vocal by #AlfaAnderson, the song became a very successful follow-up to their hit single "#LeFreak". According to #KathySledge, the song was originally slated to be recorded by #SisterSledge; their background vocals were kept on the final track. Sister Sledge ended up recording "#HesTheGreatestDancer", which was supposed to be recorded by Chic.

Alfa Anderson, lead singer for disco group Chic, has died at 78 years old, band member Nile Rodgers shared on social media. A cause of death was not disclosed.
