🏒🥅🇨🇦I haven’t watched Oilers this season, until this evening (TO 7-EDM 2). It was strange, to be rooting against the team I’d been supporting in recent years. It didn’t take long to know I’d made the right decision.
The leadership fail that is McDrai was on full display: not playing 200 ft, on-ice for at least 2 goals against. The much-vaunted coaching change looking like it’s made no difference (McDrai line the only scoring line; McD playing bloated TOI; lines 2-3-4 not effective, not having any of the “identity” we were told was one of the previous coach’s failings; blaming goalies for lack of 200-ft play; etc).
Plus, the “acquitted rapist” is still on the team.
À recent article asked why Oilers aren’t selling out? Maybe all of the above? Plus that the owner keeps gouging fans with his ticket, beer prices?
