Friday, #Trump’s attys asked a federal appeals court to intervene & stay, or stop the disbursement of damages, until #SCOTUS decides whether to reconsider [even though they already declined the appeal]. His attys asked the appeals court to issue an injunction if the funds were disbursed & order the transfer of funds back to the court-controlled account while the appeal plays out.

I have founded a group for abuse survivors (of past or present abuse) and those who question whether they were or are experiencing or witnessing abuse or coercive control or undue influence or someone is using power over them and retaliating against them when they don't "behave".
I myself survived childhood sexual abuse, incest, abuse by a cult, my therapist, psychiatry nurses, sibling, friends, queerplatonic partner/girlfriend, roommate and harrassment from a nazi neighbor plus landlords. I kinda got a bad start to life (in germany) and then people tended to make it worse instead of helping me or they took advantage of me.
So I learned a lot about what does and doesn't help!
And I want to help you out, whether you went through something you fear no one will believe or be able to stomach hearing about, or you think it was probably nothing and you overreact. You don't overreact! Nothing is too small to be worth talking about.
I'm making a space to have a warm, supportive, good vibes atmosphere that we co-create together. We'll help each other grow and see through confusions and distortions of the truth and gain more agency, to make choices, decisions and do stuff and have an impact on the world.
We'll also have fun and laugh and cry and eat cookies and discover what it's like to argue with someone who doesn't slice you to ribbons emotionally.
Anyone is welcome regardless of age, gender, ability, neurotype, location or background. I just ask that you help make the group a good space, be that by complaining when everyone else is too polite to say anything or by listening or by sharing. Please don't worry that by joining you'll take up too much space or take resources away from someone who might need them more — you ARE our space and our resources!
The first step is, once we have at least a handful of people, to decide when and how often to meet.
I use @delta delta chat for its privacy and because it works with spotty internet and very little tech knowledge. It works on desktop and mobile. You can download the app from google's or apple's appstore or FDroid or their website delta.chat (watch me not get the preview to work)
It was super easy to make an account and didn't require anything other than a username - no phone number or email address (or password).DM me for an invite, which is a link that you click to join the group. The group is invite only to keep out spam and abusers.

I am realising that I have only put up with the dangerous conditions of the house and the landlords bs for as long as I have because of how being homeless in 2022 traumatised me and reinforced the belief that I have to put up with abuse and take any and all shit and accept literal death traps as "housing" because I'm worthless and deserve nothing.
I can't work under/for capitalism and the system shuts me out at every opportunity from every resource that most people take for granted.
Of course I really am a worthwhile human being (cheat code: everyone is!), I'm fucking awesome and I am a force for good and for liberation. I just have a hard time remembering that and cannot make it be heard by cogs of the machine.
And... the base idea that one has to "earn" a living and "earn" the right to be allowed to live in a place is so central to capitalism.
It's also central to child abuse. It's what my parents lorded over me and were fully supported to lord over me and my siblings by every facet of capitalism, society and the state.
My mother once said it was "no wonder" that my father is "in a bad mood" (what a euphemism!) when he comes home from a hard day's work and long commute just to find his children hadn't even done their homework and chores yet!
I hadn't earned my right to not get abused. But he apparently had earned his "right" to abuse me. And so did my mother by bearing me.
They took it too far even by this society's (stated) standards, but there was never anything I could do about it.
Is it any surprise then that it took me decades to realise that I deserve to not get raped by my roommates? Despite being "wrong" in so many ways, neurodivergent and queer, and both in the wrong way apparently?
Running away from my then roommate (rapist) was what landed me in the homeless shelter. EVERY person classed as a woman there had a story of domestic abuse to tell that caused their homelessness! Every single one. The people classed as men didn't tend to name it as such, but reading between the lines, it was fairly obvious that most of them also had similar stories. Different flavours of the same shit sandwich — at least for marginalised men.

I've been doing research for a video I'm going to make called "the 'isms of nudism" that highlights the many barriers underprivileged people face to practicing #nudism / #naturism that the predominantly straight white cis male nudist crowd are wholly unaware of because of their privilege, and it's amazing how many of these straight white cis male nudists insist there are no actual barriers... I had one insist very smugly--a black nudist, in fact! but otherwise straight and cis-- that in nudist places if there's a group of three women and 40 men, """naturally""" none of them will get harassed(???) Meanwhile in the same paragraph, he said women in gender-equal spaces "act aggressively" and "get away with it"... helloooo red flag.

The discussion was around the risks for the Bayrous' son, then a student at the boarding school. François Bayrou's wife attended the director's funeral in 2000.
At Parliament, on 11th February 2025, François Bayrou was representing the government for the weekly question-and-answer session. When asked about #Bétharram, he stated before the National Assembly that he had "never been informed of any violence, and even less of sexual violence".
