"A short distance below Cole's #Lacolle Rapids the Southern Branch #SouthSaskatchewanRiver falls into the #Saskatchewan, and as there happened to be a good flush of water in it, we made a good distance before camping. Raining at intervals during the day.
"Saturday. Raining hard. Made a long day's march.
"Sunday. Rainy, and a thunder storm in the afternoon. Pulled all day and drifted at night.
