Opfer von polizeilicher Hundeattacke in Umkirch soll abgeschoben werden, darauf macht das Romabüro aufmerksam. 2020 lief ein Polizeieinsatz gegen eine Roma-Familie in #Umkirch bei #Freiburg völlig aus dem Ruder. Obwohl es um eine Lapalie ging und offenbar keine Gewalt von der Familie ausging, ließ die #Polizei einen Hund los, der sich im Arm von Mohammed D. verbiss. Er musste mehrere Stunden notoperiert werden. 2020 äußerte sich auch der Vorsitzende des Zentralrats Deutscher Sinti und #Roma, Romani Rose: „Dieser Vorfall muss lückenlos aufgeklärt werden, damit das Vertrauen unserer Minderheit in die Polizei nicht beschädigt wird. Sollten die Vorwürfe zutreffen, hätten wir es mit Fällen von gefährlicher oder schwerer Körperverletzung und Nötigung zu tun. Sollte die Annahme der Strafanzeige dieses Vorfalls durch die Freiburger Polizei tatsächlich verweigert worden sein, besteht zudem der Verdacht der versuchten Strafvereitelung im Amt durch weitere Polizeibeamte." Aufgeklärt wurde der Polizeieinsatz nie. Stattdessen sitzt das Opfer nun, nach 35 Jahren in Deutschland, im Abschiebeknast in Pforzheim und soll am 4. Februar in den #Kosovo abgeschoben werden.
