This week's Tune Tuesday, the first of 2024 from @Kitty, has a theme from @derthomas of "Keep It Going" - i.e. songs that are just too short.
Well, it's me. So, it's going to be They Might Be Giants.
On their album Apollo 18, TMBG dropped a series of mini-songs called "Fingertips." Each song fragment was more interesting than the next making you want them to make a full song for...any of them.

First you’ve got The Elastic Entertainer Enters, which kinda abruptly cuts from the opera song to the default Legion of Stationary theme:

For the first Tune Tuesday of 2024 by @Kitty, we have a theme of Keep It Going from @derthomas. We're to showcase a song that is too short.
An immediate song comes to mind, which is BIBI "BAD SAD AND MAD"
Not only is the song only 2 1/2 minutes long, the damn YouTube Video was a minute shorter, which caused me to leave it off my Top 100 in 2021

For the first #Tunetuesday, @derthomas brings us #KeepItGoing - a song that's too short (in my opinion).
I nominate Don't Worry Baby, by the Beach Boys. From the sweeping melody of the opening vocal line, to the tone in that single plucked guitar note, it is 2 minutes 50 of pure aching pop sweetness.
I'm not a devotee of the "Brian Wilson musical genius" cult, but this song always leaves me wanting more.
