This weekend’s food (prepared mostly by my husband) was Japanese Hambagu, aka Hamburger steak. It worked really well, the meat balls (made of ⅔ beef and ⅓ pork and cooked in red wine) were super juicy and very tasty. For the sauce we had a perfect shortcut by using the same instant Hayashi Demi-glas sauce from a while ago. 👌🏼
Accompaniments were fried yellow bell pepper (today) and spinach with sesame miso sauce (yesterday) plus some fresh shredded napa cabbage on both days.
We still have some of the hambagu steaks, they’ll be eaten later this week. 😋😋😋
