Plex media server has been on the path of enshittification for quite a few years now.

@unknownuniverse wrote a good piece going through how it has progressed.

Like them, I also switched to Jellyfin some time ago and have been very happy with that.

Just read @amxmln his post on "Building stuff I don't want to". I've added it to my #Junited2026 list.
I recognise the feeling very well. And honestly? It sounds a bit like edging on burn-out. I had that same lack of willingness or even almost ability to do anything (personal OR work even), when I hit rock bottom. Amadeus, take care of yourself! Don't fall into the trap, like I did, and burn yourself out!

I'm bending the rules a bit, this turned out to be more in the spirit of #TILvembre than #Junited but it was too good not to share.

Rock-Paper-Scissors is a widely well-known game but can we build one that has more than three options?

How about 101 options with 5050 outcomes? David did just that.

And while learning about this, I learned a lot about game design and got some very good ideas for future game projects.
